Longsight Front Attenuation
Part of the Front Entrance Scheme works required the installation of a surface water attenuation tank.
Project Description
- Site clearance - devegetation works, excavation to formation levels
- New type 1 hardcore was levelled and compacted
- New car park drainage works including road gullies, storm water manholes and tie-in to existing system
- New asphalt binding and wearing coarse was applied as part of the resurfacing works
- White lining works including car park bays, level crossing and other road demarcations
- A new surface water attenuation tank system and bypass separator was installed
- new concrete foundations were constructed to form the sub structure of the security gate house
- Glazing and block work was used to construct the superstructure of the gate house
- Installation of a new car park lighting scheme
- A new CCTV system was installed and connected to the security gate house as well as vehicle recognition software
- Electrical installation and commissioning
- Car park capping
- Installation of new batten kerbing for approach road and car park
